The municipality of Mazarrón stand for the use of new technologies as a liaison between the administration, businesses and citizens.
This role will be ensured with the arrival of Mazarrón 2008-2010 Digital City, an innovative project in which citizens can interact.
This morning the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, and the Minister of Economy and Finance, Inmaculada García, presented the Digital City project Mazarrón 2009-2010.
In the event, held at the Plenary Hall of the town hall, also attended by the Director General of Telecommunications and Information Society, Diego Pedro García, and Alderman of New Technologies, Francisco Antonio Raja.
One of the objectives which it pursues Mazarrón Digital City is to strengthen the connection, closeness and proximity between government and citizens, enabling relations exercise, fluid, flexible and efficient virtual.
This will allow the municipality to adapt the Internet services of the City Council and citizens and ensure the realization of a telematic procedures such as obtaining the wheel of registration or access to data collection using a digital certificate.
Thanks to Digital City's future, the city will acquire a more participatory and dynamic role through which they can be informed of all developments in the Consistory.
This technology project significantly benefit the municipality that their impact will be increased social, cultural, tourism and media in targeted areas to each of these areas.
Sports, safety, literacy, leisure and training will be other sections in which the Digital City will emphasize.
Mazarrón 2008-2010 Digital City with an investment of 1,200,000 euros shared among the Autonomous Community of Murcia, the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce and the City of Mazarrón.
