DI-IS project Diversification and Skills, administered by the Department of Employment and Training of the City of Mazarrón, ended with the global participation of over three hundred students of Secondary Education room schools around the municipality.
Information workshops on the labor market, visits to training and research centers in the Region of Murcia and meetings with professionals have been some of the unmissable events of the young, DI-IS integrated.
Students of Secondary Education schools in the municipality have ventured through this program pioneered the peculiarities of the current job market and the opportunities and constraints offered.
Young people have visited various schools in the Region of Murcia as the 'Cartagena Polytechnic', the 'Admiral Bastarreche', the 'Ingeniero de la Cierva' and the National Centre for Vocational Training of Cartagena, the Regional Federation Employers of the Metal of Murcia, Naval Technology Center and the Sea and Training Fair IV in the Region of Murcia.
In the professional meetings held in schools in the municipality, participated by eminent personalities working career as Training Director of the Regional Federation of Employers of the Metal of Murcia, Ramón Muñoz Gómez, the head of Mazarrón and Aguilas area of CajaMurcia, Matias Peña Asensio, the Director of the Center for Agricultural Training and Experience Torre Pacheco, Placido Varó, the Director of the National Training Center Occupational Cartagena, Ramon Romero González, the representative of Timur and OVERLAY, Javier Jiménez Martínez.
The round tables have also collaborated María Angeles García Alvadalejo Naval Technology Center and the Sea, Maria del Pilar Rodriguez of the Training Department of the Regional Federation of Employers of the Metal of Murcia, José Salmerón Qualification Center Murcia Tourism and Carlos Contreras as Deputy Director of Human Resources Health Service of Murcia.
The Department of Employment and Training Mazarrón Town Council thanks all participants, both students and teachers and professionals for their invaluable contribution to praise this educational project that certainly will improve the future of young people.
