The mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, and the Councillor for Social Policy, Yolanda Vivancos, have delivered this morning grants worth a total of 95,000 euros.
Respond to this financial support integration policy aimed at every part of the municipality, especially for foreign residents living in the municipality.
To purchase these grants, groups have previously submitted a project with activities aimed at enhancing communication skills in all aspects, be they social, educational, cultural or sports.
Associations of Parents of the Institute of Education Sunday Valdivieso, the Secondary School Philip II, Siglo XXI Concerted College of the mill, of La Canada and the Infanta Leonor have been educational groups that have received financial aid.
In the sports section have received these grants the Tae Kwon-Do Club de Mazarrón, Mazarrón Basketball Basketball Club, Athletics Club Deportivo de Mazarron and Mazarron Municipal School Football.
The social and cultural groups, funded and within this social policy, are the Association of Parents with children with learning disabilities (Aspadem) Mazarrón NGO Solidarity Ecualex, tawasul Mazarrón, Asprosocu and housewives associations Almazarron house and lighthouse.
The Department of Social Policy Mazarrón City Council congratulates the 18 associations for their tireless work and hopes that these activities planned to ensure the coexistence of citizens and immigrants.
