This morning, the Councillor for Social Policy, Yolanda Vivancos, inaugurated the Third Conference on Nutrition Education in the immigrant population in the Region of Murcia.
Over fifty people participated in the inaugural session, who may seek accreditation as food handlers, one of the prerequisites for access to the workplace of the hotel and restaurant.
The sessions are taught by Juana Morillas, professor of Ethics and Nutrition, San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia.
This dual role nutrition training has on the one hand enable the social integration of all foreign residents of the municipality and health promotion policies favoring protection and utilization.
This free nutritional training will last until May 27 at the Center for Participation and Social Integration, located in the La Canadair in Our Lady of Fatima Street No. 3.
The days of nutrition, which helps the Department of Social Policy of the City of Mazarrón, are organized by the Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia and in them is open to all citizens, mainly immigrants residing in the Region of Murcia.
