About eighty athletes from various parts of the Region of Murcia XXIV have participated in the Regional Championship Individual Chess Open held in Room Saturnino Aguero Puerto de Mazarrón.

Four members belong to the Chess Club Mazarrón.

Asensio Sánchez Sabater represents the Region of Murcia in Spain Chess Championship, efforts have been heralded as the Veterans Champion Murcia Agüera Joaquín Martínez.

The Councillor for Sports, Francisco Antonio Raja, has wrapped the athletes who have participated in this championship with his presence at the awards ceremony.
