The students from the workshops Mazarrón History, Ethnography, "Encounters with History and Memory Workshop visited the exhibition focused on" The Beauty of the Body "on display at the Archaeological Museum of Alicante and is a complete sample classical sculpture from the funds of the British Museum.
At the end of the visit was a small revision to a part of the permanent collection of the museum where the group attended the museum guide.
The morning concluded with a guided visit to the site of Lucentum.
After lunch, early afternoon the group traveled from Alicante to Novelda to visit the Casa Museo Modernista Novelda, popularly known as the "House of Pichoca."
This house was originally a palatial mansion, which construction ended in the early twentieth century, this is a great example of modernist architecture, beautifully preserved.
The evening ended with a visit to the Old Casino Novelda, where he was assisted by the local guide and then from there the group went to the Castillo de Mola, which also could visit the interior of the Sanctuary of Santa María Magdalena (typically Modernist), located in a privileged hill which dominates the surrounding city of Novelda.
This activity, organized by the Universidad Popular de Mazarrón and the Department of Culture of the City of Mazarron is a further example by which citizens can combine leisure and culture.
