This Saturday, June 20, from 17:00 IV will be held on Memorial Pedro Zamora, Senior and Master Regional Championship, set in the timetable of the Cycling Federation of the Region of Murcia.
The "Pedro Zamora Memorial IV 'will start from the dock Mazarrón buses returning to the starting point, which will host the awards ceremony on 19:30 pm by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, and Councilman Sports Francisco Antonio Raja.
The test, organized by the Ayuntamiento de Mazarrón in conjunction with the Cycling Federation of the Region of Murcia and the Cycling Club Nine and Media, honors posthumously to Mazarron making Pedro Zamora.
Pedro Zamora, born in hospital, was closely linked to Mazarrón, where he fixed his second home.
In 1953 he emerged as the Champion of Spain speed, getting the world speed record in the cadet category and getting the gold medal for his contribution to the promotion of cycling by the Spanish Cycling Federation.
