The mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, and the Councillor for Education, Concepción Ballesta, have given the awards to the best records of students from schools in the municipality.
The event, held in the Plenary Hall of the town hall of Mazarrón, also attended the Selectmen Personnel and Trade, Miguel Ballesta and Juana Maria Morales, respectively, as well as relatives and friends of the honorees.
More than 3,000 students make up the local educational community, who enrolled from kindergarten to sixth 3 years of primary education.
The winners this year were: Irene Herve Caparros Francisco Public College, Public College Inés Fernández Ginés García, Ginés Francisco Public College Ballesta the mill, Anderson Lenin Medina del Colegio Público La Canada, José Ángel Raja Public School Manuela Romero , Sebastian Rendon's Bay Public School, Jesus Fernandez del Colegio Siglo XXI Concerted and Adrian Urrea the San Antonio Bar Association.
The Department of Education of the City of Mazarrón has promoted this new initiative to motivate students, promote research and recognize the work of the school year 2008-2009.
