The municipality of Mazarrón has held this weekend the festival of the patron of the local police, the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
The main event took place in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento de Mazarrón, where the Mayor, Francisco Blaya, has reviewed the staffing of police officers in town, consisting of about sixty officers.
Later the official ceremony has continued within the Church of San Antonio, where the parish priest of Mazarrón, Julio Romero, has officiated a Mass in honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Both acts have turned hundreds of people among whom were the council of the Governing Body of Mazarrón, as well as numerous relatives and friends of the local police.
