This weekend the town of Mazarrón has hosted the semifinals and finals of the Championship of Spain by Cadet Futsal Club in the Municipal Pavilion of Sports.

The FS Marfil Santa Coloma was proclaimed champion of Spain in the cadet category defeating FS 14-5 to Castro Urdiales

In the semifinals on Castro Urdiales FS Peña overcame Real Madrid Melilla and FS Marfil Santa Coloma team defeated the Bay of Mazarrón.

The dominant note in these two days of competition was the participation that has been noticeable in the stands.

Sporting events have also been followed closely by the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, Councillor for Sports, Francisco Antonio Raja, and the representative of the Spanish Football Federation, Fermín Sánchez Molina.

At the end of the Championship, Francisco Blaya and Antonio Francisco Raja presented the trophies to the top four finishers in the Championship in which competition has dominated the quality and professional sports players.

CHAMPION: FS Marfil Santa Coloma (Barcelona)

Runners-up: FS URDIALES CASTRO (CANTABRIA)

3 Place: FS MAZARRÓN BAY

4 Place: PEÑA MADRIDISTA MELILLA
