This morning the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, the Councillor for Civil Protection, Jacqueline Galvez, and the Head of Civil Protection, Pedro Hernández, presented the Plan Copla 2009.
The event, held at the Plenary Hall of the town hall of Mazarrón, has assembled a staff representative to cover these services as part of Civil Protection and the Red Cross.
About eighty people, including lifeguards, beach coordinators and chief operating officer, include the device Copla Plan scheduled for this summer on the beaches of the municipality.
The means and resources to consider this device are: rescue four bikes, a sea rescue boat rescue and twelve canoes.
Checkpoints and rescue will be open every day from 1 July to 13 September from 11:30 to 19:30.
Distribution is also focused on the fourteen main beaches of Mazarron, such as: The Landmark, the Alamillo, the Rihuete, the Port, the island, Bahia, Reya, Guan, Nares, Castello 1, 2 Castellar, camping Bolnuevo , and Percheles Bolnuevo oasis.
The complete service consists of monitoring, rescue and first aid service, remains active since last April 4 and runs until 13 September, with special emphasis on the months of July and August by tripling the town the population reason for the summer.
During the meeting with the media, Francisco Blaya has ensured that the claim of Copla Plan is to coordinate and optimize all available resources to intervene in the shortest possible time.

Moreover, Jacqueline Galvez, who has detailed the allocation of each of the positions of rescue and surveillance, has also indicated that normal services will maximize emergency response efforts throughout the summer.
