Disseminate knowledge about stem cells and therapeutic options, especially in Reconstructive Medicine, is the main objective of the course of the International University of the Sea "and therapeutic Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation: Reconstructive Medicine."
The course is part of the International University of the Sea, a body that coordinates the summer courses at the University of Murcia and will be held at Playa Grande in Puerto de Mazarrón during the week of 13 to 17 July.
The organizers intend to provide a forum for scientific discussion with experts in cell therapy research where we can highlight the progress and challenges in this new field of medicine.
The course will analyze the different types of stem cells and their biological properties and will announce the new types of bone marrow and umbilical cord stem cells, and the results obtained with them.
The course is led by José María Moraleda Jiménez, Salvador Martínez González Pérez and Augusto Silva and lasts for thirty hours.
Attendees may choose three elective credits.
The registration period is open until July 6.
