Murcia, July 2, 2009 .- A total of 32 people of Algerian descent today have been intercepted in areas near Mazarrón, after reaching Spain by sea.
All of them were males and were in apparent good health and may be three of them minors.
The first group of illegal immigrants was stopped by the Guardia Civil following in the position of Puerto de Mazarrón is to his knowledge, shortly after midnight last, the possibility of the arrival of a boat to the La Azohía ( Cartagena).
He immediately established the appropriate control device in that part of the coast, which resulted in twenty people were intercepted of Algerian nationality - all males and in apparent good health, among which there are three possible minors - - as well as the small boat that had arrived, a small boat, five meters in length, built in fiber, and having had several cans of gasoline.
Later, around 9 am today, the local police in Mazarrón located in the hamlet of Glen Gallego to a group of seven Algerians - male, older and in good health - of which he gave the Guard Civil.

Finally, two more Algerian immigrants were intercepted by the Civil Guard in the southern end of Cartagena, so presumably would be the same group located in La Azohía.
Immigrants will be made available to the National Police for the investigation of the relevant files back to their country by illegal entry into Spain.
