The municipality of Mazarrón goodbye today, 31 August, the summer program 2009, organized by the Department of Tourism of the City, which has been developed over the months of July and August, with the participation of thousands of people.
The beaches offer Thematic Mazarrón, environmental and historical routes as well as craft markets have been raised with the activities that have met the expectations of Mazarron and tourists.
During these months, the municipality has experienced occupational half close to ninety percent, a very positive figure taking the current situation, which has allowed both large and small have enjoyed the programming strength of tourism.
Cultural activities have gained wide acceptance with the participation of over 8,000 people such as those provided in the Thematic Beach Cultural and Interpretive Centre Phoenician boat.
Cultural Theme Beach, based at The Island, has stood for loan service of books, newspapers, media and storytelling workshop.
On the other hand, very nearby the Interpretation Centre Mazarrón Phoenician vessel, which nests replica Phoenician ship and the history of the Phoenicians linked to the municipality, has had a wide acceptance in its first summer of existence.
