This morning the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, and the Councillor for Sports, Francisco Antonio Raja, presented the Sports Schools Guide 2009-2010 in the Plenary Hall of the cultural space 'town hall'.

The guide covers activities and services the diversity of sports schools, new sports facilities in the municipality, enrollment periods in the activities, adult sports, sports clubs of the town, the classification of school teams during the course above, and sporting events this year and information about their facilities.

Football, basketball, football, table tennis, tennis, aerobics, children, skating, tae kwon-do, athletics, handball, judo, chess, multi-sport, sailing, surfing and kayaking are some of the sports disciplines that can access schoolchildren in the city they so wish.

Adults may attend classes multifitness in which there will be room for various physical activities like aerobics, and cardiotonic batuka.

The scheduling of activities of the Sports School will start in October and ends in June next year.

In this guide of activities and services there is space for sporting events will be ongoing as the Memorial Cycling 'Pedro Zamora', the Sailing Regatta V 'Bahía de Mazarrón', the Football Tournament III 7 'Memorial Salvador Ortiz' or the Beach Soccer '24 hours'.

One of the important developments for the participants of sport is that during this academic year 2009/2010 will begin to enjoy new sports facilities at the Sports Centre Puerto de Mazarrón Bay and in the Public School Ginés García.

Polideportivo Puerto de Mazarrón Bay will be renovated the center with the construction of four tennis courts and a paddle, as well as renovation of the locker room, installation of sports lighting and layout of the plot.

The Public School Ginés García also have a strong renewal of its facilities with the creation of two sports courts and three paddle tennis courts and filling with light.
