The regional government has approved to allocate a total of 4,082,716 euros to hire the work on improving the boardwalks of Francisco Martínez Muñoz and Rihuete in Puerto de Mazarrón.
The project, common to the two trips, since they are located one after the other, provides for the reorganization of the section that now serves as a promenade for pedestrians and traffic.
In this way, they ensure the compatibility of the pedestrian and motor vehicles and improve the distribution of space, which will give the ride of a new cycle.
The performance includes new landscaped and recreational areas on the seafront, in addition to improving access to car parking areas in Rihuete Avenue.
With these works, the Community combines the accessibility and functionality of this urban space with new alternatives to enjoy the scenery and the coast of Murcia for the citizens of the region and tourists who annually visit our shores.
