The Mazarron Lorenzo Mendez Cifuentes has won the silver medal at the European Championship Bowls, played in the German city of Dusseldorf.
Mendez, who is a member of the Spanish, won the silver just three points separating the winner being among the most successful athletes and a team representing revelation.
It should be pointed as the important fact that Lorenzo Mendez was the first Mazarron in attending a World Championship twice being runner-up in the 2007 Japan World Championships and getting medals in local, regional, national and international.
The Department of Sports City of Mazarrón applauds the work of this young Mazarron, who has achieved sporting success nurtured in the sport of bocce, and shows its support with the local athletes.
