The municipality of Mazarrón has been featured recently cleaning seabed in the Bay of Mazarrón.
About seventy divers from different parts of the local geography, regional, national and international levels have gathered in Puerto de Mazarrón to celebrate the fifteenth day of the seabed clean Mazarrón.
The divers, experts in the area, have traced the places with the highest incidence of solid waste, carried by currents and some of it thrown by the hand of man.
One of the curiosities of cleaning this year has been finding many pipes.
One of the most positive is that each year is less tonnage of solid waste.
Participants worth noting that there have been people from Paris, Slovenia and Poland.
The seabed clean Mazarrón is the oldest in Spain.
After the development of this activity, participants have conducted an strong bond and a day of living, developed in the Sports Fishing Club Beach Rihuete.
The cleanups seabed, held recently, has completed the presentation of certificates to participants by the Councillor for Sports, Francisco Antonio Raja, who used the occasion to thank the participants the important socio-environmental work they have developed.
This event is organized by the Centre de Mazarrón ZOEA Diving in collaboration with the town of Mazarrón.
