Hundreds of Mazarron have wrapped this Sunday at Our Lady of La Purisima in the climb from the Chapel of Bolnuevo to the Sanctuary of Mazarrón.
From early morning, the pilgrims are loaded with energy and churros chocolate tasting at the door of the Chapel of Bolnuevo.
Citizens do not have cared to early to give an account of their faith and devotion to Our Lady of La Purisima in one of the most significant events for all Mazarron where the joy and fun are some of the main themes, including Councilmember were Fiestas, Luisa María Heredia, Councillor of Culture, Alicia Jimenez and Personal Councilman Miguel Ballesta.
Later, the pilgrims have gone to Mazarrón, where the basic features were the cheers and praise to the Virgin, stopping at the Virgen del Milagro desalination in mulberry trees and in the Garden of La Purisima, where the image has been received by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, and the parish priest, Julio Romero, as well as Councillor Services, Salvador Ardil, Councillor for Social Policy, Yolanda Vivancos, Councillor for Citizen Security, Segundo Muñoz, and Councilmember Attention to foreign residents, Jacqueline Galvez, who have accompanied the image to reach the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.
The first act of one of the most anticipated events for all Mazarron has been a great success of participation.
As to tradition, the Virgin remains in the Shrine of the Immaculate until Sunday, November 22, on the occasion of the pilgrimage where the image will return to Chapel Bolnuevo.
The Department of Fiestas del Ayuntamiento de Mazarrón encourages citizens to participate in this program will charge a large role during the weekend, from 20 to 22 November.
