This weekend Regional Taekwondo Federation held the awards ceremony at Taekwondo Murciano 2009 in the Lecture Hall of the Artillery Historical Museum of Cartagena.

The event, chaired by the President of the Taekwondo Federation of the region, José Antonio Solano, has benefited from the presence of several authorities, among which were the Councillor of the Presidency, Alicia Jimenez, who has come on behalf of the City Council Mazarrón.

An act of special significance in the young Mazarron, Juan Méndez Pérez, has received the Gold Medal as the best junior male athlete.

Subsequently, Jones picked up the award given to the City of Mazarrón and its collaboration with the Taekwondo.
