This morning the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, and the Director General of the Institute of Social Action, Maria Isabel Sola, inaugurated the exhibition 'Yesterday's Wedding' in the Day Centre Puerto de Mazarrón.
In a measure, relieved by the Coral Bay Mazarrón, who also attended the Councillor for Social Policy, Yolanda Vivancos.
The unique exhibition entitled 'Today Wedding' will be open until Friday, November 27, from 17:00 to 19:00 hours in the day center of Puerto de Mazarrón.
Centro users have contributed their wedding photographs and costumes and its most characteristic elements are older than the age of forty.
'Today Wedding' aims to bring new generations of the wedding traditions that have marked the past, in which all fabric components were made by hand.
The event, preceded by a breakfast for all seniors, is framed in the celebration of the 17-year history of Puerto Day Centre.
Until Monday, November 30, older guests will enjoy a myriad of cultural activities, music, games and attractions.
This intensive program is organized by the Participation Council Day Centre Puerto de Mazarrón, under the Social Action Institute for the Region of Murcia, in collaboration with the Department of Social Policy of the City of Mazarrón and Cajamurcia Foundation.
