Mazarrón 2009] | The Consistory of Mazarrón celebrates 31 years of democracy with the raising of the flag and a tribute to the Mazarron who have died defending their ideals |
The mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, along with his cabinet on Sunday presided over the raising of the flag of Spain on Constitution Avenue in an act with which the municipality of Mazarrón has commemorated the 31 year life of the Spanish Constitution .
Representatives of different groups in the municipality as the Occupational Center, the Association of Housewives, Consumers and Users Almazarrón, the Association of Parents of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities Mazarrón (ASPADEM), the NGO Solidarity Mazarron and Mazarron Juan Méndez Sport and Lorenzo Mendez and Speaker of the Team, Second Muñoz, have actively participated in this symbolic act.
The raising of the flag with the help of seven Mazarron has taken a more formal interpretation of the national anthem by the Band of Drums and Bugles of Mazarrón.
On the conclusion of the Mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, and the Councillor of Tourism, Alicia Jiménez, have placed a wreath in tribute to all who have died Mazarron defend their ideals.
