The wetland biological adaptation de la Rambla de Las Moreras expand the pond in an easterly direction on land donated by the City Council

La Caixa intended to this agreement a budget of 3.75 billion euros in three years.
Pablo Fernandez said that the environmental improvement of Windlass Hill "will transform this forest into a green space."
This will eliminate the vegetation in worse condition due to problems of pollution and urban use, and will proceed to cleaning up the remaining copies and the creation of various ecosystems representative of the regional flora, "so that this park may have a didactic function as well as serving as a place of entertainment for the neighbors. The director general also stressed that the proposed wetland biological adaptation of the Rambla of mulberry trees, "including the expansion of the lake in an easterly direction on land donated by the municipality of Mazarrón, thus increasing the available habitat for bird species" .
Also protect the perimeter with a wooden fence to prevent accidental loss of people.
The responsible regional finally said that the wetland was proposed to form part of the Ramsar List of Wetlands of International Importance.
