The Councillor of Tourism, Alicia Jimenez, accompanied by the Councillor for the Environment, Juana Maria Morales, and Juan Sanchez Calventus Mazarron, presented the project 'islands, islets and rocks of the Bay of Mazarrón. "
Isla Plana, the head of Landmark, La Galera, Isla de Adentro, the head of the Hawk, the head of Castellar, Punta de Cueva de Lobos and Isla de la Cueva de Lobos are some of the scenarios chosen to reflect the sample of the most idyllic corners of geography Mazarron.
The snapshots are accompanied by texts that address the main data of wildlife, vegetation, geology and history of Mazarrón in a clear attempt to bring everyone the natural heritage which the municipality.
In this project volunteers have worked, among which are teachers in schools in the municipality, highlighting the selfless participation of nature lovers and photography as Daniel Joseph Aragon, Juan Sánchez Calventus and Elena Diaz.
The panels, which collect the work environment, are mounted on a triangular totem and have dimensions of 2 meters high and 1 wide.
The public may enjoy these display panels from today until Tuesday, December 5 at the Tourist Office of Mazarrón.
As of Friday, January 8, young people will have this environmental showcase schools in the municipality.
The 'islands, islets and rocks of the Bahía de Mazarrón, held by the municipality of Mazarrón, has been made possible by a grant of 6,000 euros from the Caja de Ahorros del Mediterráneo through VOLCAM Program Environmental Assistance to Voluntary Ateneo cultural cooperation and a group of secondary school teachers of schools in the municipality.
