The Youth Council of the City of Mazarrón has organized for the first half of the year a variety of programming, called 'MAZAJOVEN', aimed at people aged between 16 and 32 years.
This morning the Youth Councillor, Francisco Antonio Raja, has announced to the media such programming in a ceremony held at the hall of the exhibition space and cultural 'town hall'.
The program fell within four blocks such as culture, adventure and sport routes which are intended to meet the demands of youth groups in the municipality.
New this year is the Pilgrimage to Caravaca de la Cruz Mountain Bike on the occasion of Holy Year 2010.
The chapter will also travel to Sierra Nevada for a young people to enjoy a weekend break, winter sports like skiing and snowboarding.
The novelty in the field of culture will be the 'Graffiti Workshop' with theoretical and practical classes in the Sports Pavilion de La Canada, where there will be a mural.
Youth may also participate in the 'Short Film Contest "in which to demonstrate their skills in the audiovisual field and compete by submitting a short seven minutes long and free theme AVID format, 3GP, DIVX or DVD.
The award will be unique and 400 euros in audiovisual material.
If you prefer, you can show off their literary skills in the 'Short Story Contest' writing a story in five lines of any genre.
Rock climbing in Sierra Espuña, canyoning in Yeste (Albacete), rafting and canoeing, fast descent down the River Segura, via ferrata, mountain climbing in Villena (Alicante), and baptism of diving in the seabed of the Bay Mazarrón.
The Cycle routes young people take different geographical locations as the Greenway Mazarron - La Pinilla Mazarron - Majada, Mazarrón - Coto Fortuna, Mazarrón - Tips Calnegre, Mazarrón - The Partridge and Mazarrón - Santa Ana Wells
