This morning the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, accompanied by the Councillor for Social Policy, Yolanda Vivancos, and the Councillor for Fiestas, Luisa María Heredia, today unveiled the mobility equipment that will benefit the citizens of Mazarrón.
This material is made of four adapted chairs with wheels and a hinged bed, which will be available for residents of the municipality, in particular, for those elderly or dependent demand such specialist care.
The material, valued at 2,500 euros was donated generously to the Department of Social Policy by the Ecumenical Church of Saint Nicholas Camposol, Canasta Club and Stammtich.
In the presentation has intervened Antonio Gonzalez, representing the German collective, who thanked the council for their cooperation Fiestas Market development Solidario.
This group of Germans living in the town of Mazarrón, has done an exemplary act of solidarity with the purchase of medical equipment with the funds raised in the Solidarity Market, held in the last holiday of Mazarrón.
This material will serve to meet the immediate needs of elderly or dependent of the municipality.
