This morning the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, and the Councillor for Infrastructure, José Antonio Román, accompanied by several members of the government team visited the new social and commercial town of Puerto de Mazarrón.
This project, funded by the Plan E and implemented by the Department of Infrastructure and Planning of the City of Mazarrón, integrated projects 'adaptation and improvement of accessibility in the avenues Tierno Galván and Dr. Mecca' and 'urbanization of the street coopers' .
Such works have included the paving, in the renovation of the lighting, and sanitation as well as the incorporation of street furniture and landscaping.
Sendas actions, valued at 982,000 euros, have been undertaken by the company Construcciones SL Díaz
For citizens and tourists in the municipality of Mazarrón this action is an added attraction as it has a dual role as facilitating access to the coast, improving road safety and beautify the surroundings of one of the main arteries of the port area Mazarrón.
