This Saturday the Councillor of Culture, Alicia Jiménez, presided over the first act because of the Mazarrón Easter 2010.
This act of strong social, cultural and religious also attended by the President of the Cabildo of guilds of Mazarrón, Ginés Campos, the pastor of Mazarrón, Julio Romero and Pregonera of Holy Week this year Maria Garcia, among other political and religious.
In 2010 the poster and the magazine will feature Easter indisputably a beautiful picture of the Virgen de la Soledad, belonging to the Confraternity of Our Lady of Solitude.
In this Holy Week will be particularly relevant cultural growth being experienced by the municipality of Mazarrón, continuing the 'Lenten Story Contest' which this year celebrates its eleventh edition and adding new features as the first 'National Photography Contest Religious Paco Garcia' with which aims to recognize the value of the photographers.
This year the Easter Pregonera de Mazarrón is a woman loved by all Mazarron, noted for his simplicity, his fighting spirit, his love for the Church and her passion for sewing.
Here are some of the reasons that has prompted the City Council of Guilds in Guilds consensus to elect Maria Garcia Caparros.
Alicia Jimenez expressed his gratitude and admiration to all those people who year after year give their time to praise the Holy Week of Mazarrón, especially the council of guilds and brotherhoods of the municipality.
