Study Days Mazarrón, CARLANTUM 2010, have started out with the presentation "Geology and Mining in Mazarrón 'by Rafael Arana Castillo, who has gained a remarkable civic participation.
Arana Castillo has focused its attention on three main areas of exploitation of the mines of Mazarrón: head of St. Kitts - The Perula, the Old and Coto Pedreras Fortuna.
Until Friday, March 5, the Mazarron you can enjoy the rest of papers by Jesus Bellon, Benjamin Rubio, Ignacio Nicolás, Juan Francisco Belmar and Pedro Egea.
The papers, which take place at 21:30 pm in the Auditorium of the Department of Culture, try to put on the table the best known aspects of mining, one of the most important sources of the economy until 1950 Mazarron .
CARLANTUM 2010 is complemented by the exhibition 'Roads Lead' by Antonio Paredes which will be open Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 14:00 and from 18:00 to 22:00 hours.
The Department of Culture of the City of Mazarrón is intended to approximate the Study Days 'CARLANTUM 2010' to all citizens, allowing them to establish a forum for discussion and learning that emerge all the experiences and knowledge about the mining.
