This morning the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya has held a meeting with directors of schools in the municipality of Mazarrón, Daniel Díaz del IES Sunday Valdivieso, Andrés Felipe II Pineapple IES and IES Carlos Antonio Corbalan Hellín to address most significant aspects of the project 'European Young Enterprise' in the Region of Murcia.
At that meeting, developed at the IES Felipe II, also featured the project coordinator, Encarna Teruel, and the presidents of associations of parents of Mazarrón of secondary schools in the municipality.
The mission of this ambitious project, to which are attached to the three centers of Mazarron, is promoting a more enterprising and support the creation and consolidation of new companies.
Young people with the help of teachers have started their "business venture" with the creation of five cooperatives, one of IES Sunday Valdivieso, one of IES Antonio Hellin and two IES Felipe II.
In a fun and relaxed event, young people have presented their projects with enthusiasm and with the firm intention to achieve its objectives.
The study of entrepreneurship will develop personal qualities such as creativity, taking initiative and responsibility to be generally useful in life and in all work activity.
This project is based on the establishment of cooperative school for students to develop their business, following all the steps that would in reality and working with other cooperatives at other centers.
This project has been driven by the Autonomous Community of Murcia Region through the Ministry of Universities, Business and Research and Education, Training and Employment, set in the Plan Projects of the Murcia Region which also participates Institute Development.
