The mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, together with the Councillor for Sports, Francisco Antonio Raja, and the Councillor for Social Policy, Yolanda Vivancos, have delivered this morning about forty DTT devices to the largest of the Day Centre de Mazarrón.
This symbolic act portends the imminent arrival of the analogue switch to Mazarron, which will take effect this Tuesday, March 23, at 12:00.
To ensure coverage of DTT on the wider community, the Department of New Technologies of the City of Mazarrón has worked hard in recent months through an information campaign, in which citizens have known the details of DTT as significantly helped them to adapt their televisions to the technological changes of the times.
These meetings must be added the permanent installation of new repeaters in Bolnuevo-Playasol for DTT coverage is total throughout the municipality both in Mazarron and Puerto and hamlets.
The apparatus of DTT, which were delivered this morning, depend on a grant from the Autonomous Community of Murcia to Mazarron, included in the Second Development Plan of the Information Society 2008-2010.
