Holy Wednesday night, during the Procession of the promises, the Mazarron and Mazarron have accompanied the Cristo de la Soledad on one of the processions and intense shorter Easter Mazarron.
This procession, which has a recent tradition has been celebrated only three years, paraded through the main streets of town on a tour leaving from a hospice, going down the street Hostench Filomeno, Covadonga Street, Constitution Avenue, the Pine Street, Calle del Pilar, the Garden of St. Ursula, San Antonio Street, Plaza del Ayuntamiento, Plaza Comandante García Sánchez and Ramón y Cajal to reach the Sanctuary of the Virgin.
The procession closed the civil and ecclesiastical authorities of the municipality of Mazarrón, followed by citizens who fulfill their promises.
The Procession of the promises, in its short existence, has captured the attention of the Mazarrón population and tourists, who have also followed closely the rest of processions.
