The Civil Guard service is activated in the region to monitor and control the coastline, as well as incidents that occur in it, have led to the seizure during the last night of a large cache of hashish and the arrest of three people who carried on board a vessel.
The performance of the Civil Guard was initiated following that beachfront of the island in the municipality of Mazarrón, stranded boat, which had to be assisted by Marine Rescue.
The information gathered by officers on the ship and the pattern itself, which had been transferred to land by Salvage, took those to suspect that the vessel could be involved in transporting a cache of narcotics.
Given this possibility, a patrol of the Maritime Service of the Guardia Civil was moved to where the boat was beached and made a recognition of it, finding in it 129 bales of hashish.
The agents proceeded to the rescue of the boat and its transfer to the port of Mazarrón and detention, on suspicion of a crime against public health, it's three crew members, who have been identified as JMRN, 30 age, AMHL, 36, and JNMP, 32, all Spanish nationals residing in the province of Almeria.
Regarding the drug operated, it is of 3,220 kilos of hashish.
