The mayor of the Presidency, Alicia Jiménez, together with the mayor for the Care of Foreign Residents, Jacqueline Galvez, and the mayor of Services, Salvador Ardil have recently attended the inauguration of the 'Garden of Remembrance', located in the Park Palacios A Camposol sector.
One hundred people have attended this event which symbolizes the achievement of a new countryside, ideal for leisure and relaxation of foreign residents living in Camposol.
The Mass was officiated by the Reverend David Eaton and Holley in which the choir of Saint Nicholas Church has played different songs.
This garden has been made possible by donations from a group of volunteers from Camposol, who have been realized with the proceeds collected throughout the year.
Just four months ago, the Mayor and the Councillor for the Care of Foreign Residents attended a religious ceremony in honor of the fallen in World Wars, which donated some plants to this new garden of Camposol.
The Consistory of Mazarron, through the Department of Care of Foreign Residents, applauds the exemplary work of this group of municipalities working to integrate with the rest of the citizens and pursuing its aims to achieve them.
