The mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, and the Director General of Telecommunications and Information Society of the Autonomous Region of Murcia, Pedro Diego Garcia and the Councillor for Culture, Alicia Jiménez, have been brought before the media historical documentary "Mazarrón, Traces of History."
The event also counted with the participation of the municipal archaeologist, Maria Martinez Mayor, who has provided technical data.
The ceremony was attended by members of the Team, the Manager of the Integra Foundation, Onofre Molino, and people who have participated in the making of the documentary on Mazarrón.
The film presents the historical evolution of Mazarrón, for more than three millennia, from the Neolithic to the end of Roman.
Within the Region of Murcia Digital Project, led by the Autonomous Community of Murcia has been made, using different formats and technologies, various measures of digitization of content related to the history and archaeological heritage of the town of Mazarrón.
The result of these actions will become a huge part of the content of the Multimedia Resource Center in the Region of Murcia.
Thanks to this work and the use of new technologies can better understand the historical evolution of Mazarrón, using 3D virtual reality techniques to reconstruct large rooms and places that play the most representative and emblematic relics and ornaments , rituals and ornamental pieces.
It has developed a complete documentary using 3D computer graphics that makes a journey across 4,000 years of history of Mazarron, and several videos, including interviews with experts, the current state of the buildings and several reconstructions.
Mazarrón This work is part of a series of actions to disseminate and preserve the historical heritage of the Region of Murcia using new technologies.
To Blaya is "a documentary with an incalculable value."
The public can watch this historical documentary on the projections made in the Archaeological Museum 'Roman Fish Salting Factory' at the Senior Center Municipal de Mazarrón, in the center of Puerto de Mazarrón Day 'in the cultural and exhibition space 'Town Hall' and in all schools in the municipality.
